Dr Ramesh formative education Premier institution of Ministry of defence MOD, GOI and State govt collaborated Sainik schools to groom cadets as a feeder institution into national defence academy to join three forces of defence as Commissioned officers. He holds a MBBS degree, and a Post Graduate degree in Public Policy and Management from the Indian Institute of Management ( IIM ), Bangalore.
Currently Principal Secretary, Govt. of M.P., SC Welfare Department. & Principal Secretary, Govt. of M.P., Backward Classes & Minority Welfare Deptt. & Principal Secretary, Govt. of M.P., Nomadic & Semi-Nomadic Tribe, He did a stint in GOI on deputation before returning to home state
His earlier stints as Chairman of the Mormugao Port Trust with effect from 24thOctober, 2018 Prior to his appointment to the post of Chairman, MPT, Dr. E. Ramesh Kumar, was the Joint Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Govt of India. He was the Vice Chairman & Managing Director of the Girijan Co-op Corporation, Visakhapatnam, Ministry of Social Welfare/Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Andhra Pradesh. Prior to that he worked as Collector, in Sagar, Chhatarpur, Khargone & Dindori districts of Madhya Pradesh.
